Why you do what you do:

“I love it” is how Travis sums up why he does what he does. He loves having the ability to capture a talent at the peak of their career, and he considers it a privilege. “You are being trusted,” he further explains. “It’s a privilege for which I have much appreciation. I love reverberating back to the world in a positive way. My job is to put the best of [an artist] out to the world. Truly a privilege. I respect it and I love it.”

Not to mention the enjoyment factor. Travis describes documenting and producing music as endless fun.

Next on his playlist is to publish a book of his work, an anthology of sorts. Now he is looking for the right creative partner to put his vision into print. A monumental undertaking given the time and energy put into his photography and the huge stockpile of images.

What makes you/your brand different?

Travis’s style of doing business sets Sound Source Production.com apart. That style sets Travis apart, too, as well as his Sound Source Production and other projects.

The Travis style: Making people feel comfortable be it in person, on the phone, via videoconferencing, or through differing digital devices. This is within the first 5 minutes of meeting as his tempo is relaxed and his pace is chill. His internal skillset includes a people-person personality and a natural ease that puts others at ease, too. All which add up to a respectful rapport and well-earned trust.

“My ears are bigger than my mouth,” Travis notes and offers “be personable, and do it with grace and honesty.”

Travis’s enviable style not only serves him extremely well as a photojournalist, but also plays a big role in his 25 years as a successful Real Estate Broker licensed in California and Nevada, newhomenegotiators.com @newhomenegotiators, and in a much earlier profession as a social worker.
